A Message From The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation

The Supplemental Oxygen Access Reform (SOAR) Act has been introduced in Congress!

We are thrilled to share the exciting news that the bipartisan Supplemental Oxygen Access Reform (SOAR) Act has officially been introduced in both the House (H.R.7829) and Senate (S.3821). This marks a significant step forward in our mission to improve access to supplemental oxygen for Medicare beneficiaries. The SOAR Act includes provisions to establish a patients’ bill of rights and increase the availability of liquid oxygen around the country.

We are profoundly grateful to the lead sponsors of these bills:

Senate Cosponsors:

Bill Cassidy, MD (R-LA)

Mark Warner (D-VA)

Amy Klobuchar (D-MN)

House Cosponsors:

David Valadao (R-CA)

Larry Bucshon, MD (R-IN)

Adrian Smith (R-NE)
