Join us online for a FREE educational webinar! Hear important information about living with COPD, pulmonary fibrosis and other lung health issues. Have your lung health questions answered by experts and hear compelling stories from patient advocates. Learn how you can live, be healthy and thrive!

For this session, we are joined by pulmonary expert and author Jane Martin BA, CRT, who will discuss good news, bad news, and challenges faced by those with COPD and other chronic lung disease in 2021. Patients and respiratory therapists will talk about lessons learned and how we can move forward to a better 2022! We will also be joined by patient advocates Karen Deitemeyer and Mary Erickson, who will share their insights of their lung health journeys.

Jane M. Martin, BA, CRT, is a respiratory therapist with over 35 years of experience, and an educator dedicated to working towards effective patient education to improve the quality of life in individuals impacted by COPD.

Jane believes that identifying the emotional needs of individuals with COPD is the basis for determining more effective methods of teaching, leading to real learning, lasting change, and long-term effective management of COPD. She recently retired from the COPD Foundation where she served as the Assistant Director of Education. Jane is the author of three books on living with COPD and other chronic lung diseases and has written over 200 articles on living with COPD.
